The cheapest data recovery is the one you never need. DR.FONE in Nicosia sets up a backup that actually runs — on your phone, your laptop or both — and shows you how to check it’s working.
What we set up
- Phone backups — iCloud for iPhone or Google backup for Android, configured to back up your photos, contacts and app data automatically.
- Laptop backups — a cloud service or an external drive (Time Machine on Mac, File History or similar on Windows), whichever fits how you work.
- A walkthrough — we show you, on your own device, how to verify the backup ran and how to find your files in it. A backup you can’t check isn’t really a backup.
One-time setup, ongoing protection
For most people this is a one-time visit: we configure automatic backups, run the first one with you, and you leave with protection that keeps itself up to date. If you prefer, we can also check your backup whenever you’re in the shop for something else — just ask.
Why this matters before any repair
Every repair carries some risk to data, and recovery from a failed device is never guaranteed — that’s exactly why our data recovery page makes no promises. A working backup turns a broken phone from a crisis into an inconvenience. If your device is already failing, back it up today, not after the repair.
Your privacy matters
Setting up a backup means working with your device and accounts. We handle everything confidentially and access only what is needed to configure the backup, in line with GDPR and our privacy policy. Your backups belong to your own accounts and drives — we keep no copy of your data.
How it works
- 1. Bring your device — phone, laptop or both, with your account sign-ins to hand.
- 2. We recommend a setup — based on how much data you have and what you want protected, priced from [STARTING_PRICE].
- 3. Configure and run — usually done in around [SERVICE_TIME_ESTIMATE]; the first backup runs before you leave or overnight for large amounts of data.
- 4. You verify it — we show you where the backup lives and how to check it’s current.

Which cloud service should I use?
Usually the one built into your device — iCloud on iPhone, Google on Android — because automatic beats perfect. For laptops it depends on how much data you have; we’ll recommend honestly, including a plain external drive if that suits you better than a subscription.
Does cloud storage cost extra?
Often yes, and to be clear: any storage subscription is paid by you directly to the provider (Apple, Google, Microsoft), not to us. The free tiers are small — most people with a lot of photos will need a paid tier. We’ll tell you the realistic storage size you need before you commit to anything.
How often should my device back up?
Automatically and continuously — that’s the point of the setup. Phones back up daily when charging on Wi-Fi; laptop backups run on a schedule or whenever the external drive is connected. We’ll also show you how to trigger one manually before something risky, like a repair or an update.
What does backup setup cost?
Setup starts from [STARTING_PRICE], agreed before we begin. Any cloud storage subscription is separate and goes to the provider, not to us.
