Charging & Data Cables

USB-C, Lightning and micro-USB cables — including braided XO cables in different lengths — that charge fast, sync data, and don’t fray at the connector after a month. Part of the accessories range at DR.FONE in Nicosia.

Cable types we stock

  • USB-C — for most current Android phones, tablets, and newer iPhones.
  • Lightning — for older iPhones, iPads and AirPods cases.
  • Micro-USB — still alive in older phones, speakers, e-readers and countless gadgets.
  • Braided XO cables — woven jackets and reinforced connector necks, because the connector neck is where every cable dies first.

Pick the right length

We stock short cables for power banks and car use, standard one-metre cables for the desk, and longer cables for when the socket is nowhere near the sofa. Longer isn’t always better — very long, very thin cables can charge noticeably slower — so tell us where you’ll use it and we’ll suggest the right one.

Charging cable or data cable?

Not every cable is equal inside: some carry only power, which is fine for charging but useless when you want to move photos to a laptop or connect to a car system. If you need data transfer — for backups, file copies, or Android Auto / CarPlay — say so and we’ll hand you a cable that does both.

How to buy

Cables start from [PRICE_FROM] depending on type and length. The online store is coming — for now, drop into the shop in Nicosia or message [DRFONE_WHATSAPP] and we’ll confirm what’s in stock. Pair it with the right charger while you’re at it.

Why do my cables keep failing?

Almost always strain at the connector neck — yanking the cable out by the cord, bending it sharply at the plug, or wrapping it tightly. Inside, the fine wires fracture and you get the classic “works at one angle” stage before it dies. Braided cables with reinforced necks last longer; so does pulling by the plug, not the cord.

Are your cables good quality?

The cables we stock, including the XO braided line, are quality-tested before they reach the shelf — we don’t sell the bargain-bin cables that fail in weeks, because we’re the ones who’d hear about it. If a cable we sold develops a fault early, come back and talk to us.
